No fuel line goes through the manifold. First you need the two tanks, shutters on the radiator, the correct manifold, and lines to change over from gas to kerosene.Ill assume you have all of that.CLose the shutters, start it up,let it run for a little bit to smooth out, move the lever on the manifold to HOT,let it run a few more minutes, turn off the gas and open the kerosene,do that pretty quick so as not to run the carb out of gas before the kerosene gets in there.Cover eyes, mouth and nose as the thing will smoke until it gets warm enough to run without smoking. Then shut off the kerosene, open up the gas,let it run a few minutes, move lever back to cold,(I run mine in the middle of an aftermarket manifold)shut off the gas and let it run until it cuts off.Go back in the house and wonder why you did that.Seriously,I wouldnt worry about it unless you just want to.I did it once on my 14,several times on my M,and when I can get it CHEAP I do it when I work my M sometimes.I remember Dad running a gas/kerosene/diesel mix in his M,now mine.Of course kerosene and diesel was a heck of alot cheaper then. Why he did that,I have no idea!
