my super c has no 3 pt or remotes but if i wanted to put the valves on run from the touch controll pump where would i hook in for pressure. any help appreciated. matt

www.saginawcountytractor.com has the best 3-points made. The web site will not show it, but there is one for a C. There is also adapter that fits between the reservoir and lines that directs the fluid the same way that the factory setup does. You mount a spool valve on the light bar or wherever you want it. Pressure line from the adapter to the spool valve, then pressure out from the valve to the 3 point cylinder, pressure line back to the spool valve, return line to adapter. I suppose it can also be setup for one-way hydraulics if you desire. This works independently of the rockshaft, you probably can't use the touch control levers at the same time as the spool valve, but you don't need to -- MUCH better than using the rockshaft for the 3 point.

This will work only if you are using a two-way cylinder. The touch control unit only holds about 3 quarts of hydraulic fluid. I tapped into the two little plugs in the manifold on the side of the touch control unit. Keep in mind that those 1/4 inch plugs are blocking ports that are only about 1/8" in size. The hydraulics work but don't get in a hurry as there isn't a large volume of fluid that can get through those ports. The major problem is going to be the fact that the touch control unit has in internal bypass. Once you move either of the levers and the rockshaft reaches its desire position the touch control unit dumps any pressure in the high pressure line and you no longer have adequate pressure to operate the remote hydraulic cylinder. What I did to get around this was to take a short lenght of 3/8" chain and run it from one of the rockshafts and one of the 3 large implement mounting bolts on the front of the tractor. I then pull that lever back and since the rockshaft can't move the touch control unit keeps high pressure in the return line from the pump. If you are not using the cylinder then just move the touch control lever forward again and that will relieve tension on the chain and the bypass will operate as normal. thanks gene. i was thinking it would work with the port screws as you discribed i just wasnt sure and didnt know if there was a better way. i just want to run a 3 in cyl for the grader box i use on my lane and barn lot's. i have been using my 1370 case but thats overkill and hard to turn in small spaces.

There are two ways to do that. You can put one in line with the pressure which is the small one by cutting it and then brazing fittings to run pressure thru the new control valve the back into the line. You can also take out the two plugs where the block attaches to the rockshaft unit and install the control valve to those two ports. You can also buy at a salvage yard the assy from the pump to the rockshaft that has the ports for a remote. You can also make a block that will bolt between the inlet on the rockshaft and the two lines coming from the pump so to run the pressure thru the control valve then into the block. I have seen it done the several ways i just described. I have one that they just made a block to bolt in and drilled and tapped it so the pressure comes out of the line thru te control valve then back into the bottom of the new block into the rockshaft assy. The easy way is just removing the two plugs at the rockshaft and going thru the control valve back into the return line which it the big. The smaller line is pressure
