I am working on an MTA that I just bought. I am trying to figure out what type of light bracket should go on my battery box. The battery box under the seat has a hole on the left side that is near the back of the box which is about 1/2" to 5/8" in size. Then there are to small holes on each side of the big hole that appears bolts should go through. The two smaller holes are not parallel to the bottom of the box but set more on a 45 degree angle to the bottom. Any ideas what the bracket should look like and where I can get it?

Originals used a threaded hole it battery box that a piece of 1/2 inch pipe screwed in.Ones that came later and aftermarket had several holes several different ways.Lot of them used a 1/2 inch pipe with 2 pipe thread nuts on each side of the big hole to mount, several others used a rear light bracket like the 300 to 450 tractors used with 2 bolts used to mount. Some of the aftermarket boxes used to have so many holes in them to fit all that it looked like shotguners had used for target practice.

I'd go out and snap a pic of mine, but it's too hard to get at right now. Maybe someone else has one handy. E-bay is where you get that kind of stuff. Just bought a rear light bracket for a Farmall B on there. Don't jump on the first one you see. I waited weeks and bid on several. Saw them sell as high as $35 each. Bought mine last week for $12.50 so timing is everything.

Gosh NO! Be easier to wander out there and dust her off and take a picture! The scanner sits there on a shelf....I leave it alone and it returns the favor.
