I found a used belt pulley oil tube for my Super C. It doesn't have a nut, though. Is the original nut something special or can I use an ordinary nut? Also, I see two holes that go into the transmission, one on the left side and one on the right. Which one does the tube go through?

The tube goes in whichever hole is threaded, I think it should be on the right hand side as you face forward. The "nut" is a special, it is actually threaded on the outside, the hole through the middle is smooth. One side of the nut is notched for a spanner wrench, but the few times I ever removed it I used a hammer and punch.
