I have a 1941 M and i cannot gat any spark to the plugs. I have spark at the points but nothing at the plus. I check all the wiring and nothing seems to be grounded out. However i do not have power to the wire that goes to the outside of the condeser. Could that be the problem? Also could anyone tell me were to get a service manual for this tractor?

If you are running a true magneto the wire to the condeser post on the outside is a ground wire for shut-down. I'm not sure you understand what you have. Can you post a picture?

Yes if you put power to that screw it will fry the internals of that mag quicker than you can say toast. Make sure your rotor is turning and that you dont have a bad gear. If you take the little cover off the peg that the rotor goes on it will need to be timed. If you take the coil wire out of the dist cap and hold it about 1/4" away from the screw on the side and turn the motor over you should have spark. If you do its probly a wire or cap or rotor or rotor gear or pinion gear. If you dont its probly the coil or condenser or points. If you need anything check out farmallmagneto.com or just email me.
