Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has a good used center steering arm for a wide front 1953 Super M? Thanks--Marvin

If you put a 2X4 between the drag link, and the axle and clamp it in place with three C clamps, you could move the tractor to get near the power. Just loosen and turn tighten and move (it might take 30 minutes), no road driving however!!!

Still in the mudhole?

Take that to a professional welder. They should be able to weld it back together for you, and beef it up a little. A "new" replacement part will just break again in the same place.

BTW, that's the "old style" wide front.

Thank you all for your input. Nat, that sounds like the right thing to do. Thanks for telling me the term for my front end. I didn"t quite know what Jim meant. I am having a heck of a time getting this thing unbolted. I would use an impact wrench but the tractor is not near any power source and I don"t have a generator. Does anyone know if it is best to raise the front end up when I bolt everything back together or is it okay to leave it as it sits? Thanks again--Marvin

Here's a web site for tractor salvage yards. Some may be in your area. Hal
