evening folks well i got a 49 farmall h and i blew the number one clinder it all started when i started plowing with it pushes alot of smoke out of the muffler you can see the oil on the eaxhust pipe does anyone know what model the engine is and or what engine kit i need for i can re do all the pistons should i bore the cyldner out or not i have some numbers off the engine block but i got no clue what they mean i got 6695-de 2bb or ee or dd

Gene is right, you will have take it apart to see what you have got. You will also need a manual or two. The IH service manual is available at a reasonable cost. Try an outfit called binder books. Once you know what you are up against, you can probably find the parts on this site or at an IH, CNH, (or whatever they are calling themselves these days) dealer.

These tractors were made to be repaired or rebuilt by the owner with a minimum of special tools. If you are at all mechanically inclined, you will find it easy to work on. You might even like it.

You will have to remove the head to see what size the sleeves are now as there are oversize sleeves and pistons from stock when new. Then you can go from there. Perhaps all you will need would be another used piston to match what is now in the engine.
