This is a silly question, but which tractor would have the greater value over the long haul? 1) Farmall A I with a sicklemower, 2) an International 140 with one point and grader blade, 3) a mid 60s Cub Lowboy? Just a topic that has been battered around here and thought I would ask you guys..I know sheet metal, rubber, paint, all play a factor..but given these are all average, run of the mill tractors now, I was just wondering..

None of them are rare, and the implements you listed don't add that much value, except to the person that uses or might buy it, so my answer(s) are without the implements. My opinion, if I were buying would put the 140 first because of the added power over the A plus the hydraulics, the A OR the cub second. The A has more power, the Cub has hydraulics and is newer, although 40 years old is not new, the A is about 60 years old. Looking at it from a collectors standpoint, whichever one he does not have. As to which would bring the most money, now, and probably in the future also, 140, then the Cub, then the A. Others, of course are free to differ.

I would think the AI with sickle mower. Being an industrial would rarify it slightly. Second would be the Lo-Boy, then the 140. Even with the 1 pt hitch it is still a fairly common tractor. Thats just going by what I see more commonly.
