Question about adding hydraulic pump to M?

Anyone have a instruction sheet made up on this.

If not, you can go to this web store and choose to enter the parts room and look under Cross manufacturing for a pump like mine. Mine is the 15 gallon per minute pump and it handles the power steering and any implement nicely.

You will want at least a "B" section belt and the largest pulleys you can fit in order to transfer enough power. I get about 1000 psi out of mine before the belt slips. For comparison, the belly pumps put out around 8 GPM at 800 psi, the Super M live pumps will do 12 GPM at 1200 psi.

I had a good machine shop to work with to make the custom pulleys out of solid steel, along with a mounting plate for the pump, etc. It will be easy to add the pump to an M, mount on the carburetor side of the engine - and you have a lot more room between the crankshaft and front bolster casting compared to an H. I have to take out all the bolts and move the bolster forward to change drive belts now.
