Greetings gentlemen. Long time no see. Hope everyone is well and still wrenching on old Farmalls.Last weekend, I installed the 2-way "christmas tree" valve I got off Ebay on my Stage II Super H. With the fittings I got from SurplusCenterdotcom, it fits just like the factory setup, tucked up under the tank all nicey-nice like, with plenty of clearance for the belt pulley. One problem, it didn"t come with a control rod. How does this work? Is there a separate control rod for the two-way valve, or do I simply lock the liftall lever back and transfer the existing rod to the two-way valve? If there is a separate rod, I am confident that I can make it myself. I seem to have a way with bending wire; I made a very convincing reproduction of the choke rod for a Cub just eyeballing it. If I hadn"t bent the loop in the wrong direction, you"d never know the difference :) Again, if there is a separate rod, can someone let me know the length and diameter? Thanks!
