Hugh is correct, no less than 3000 lbs, depends on rear wheel weights, and fluid in tires. Could push 4000. You need a tandem axle trailer with brakes.

Warren: A Farmall 240 will be at least 3,000. I can remember Super C and 200 weighing in at tractor pulls, never saw one under 3,000 lbs and it is the same basic chassis as the 240.

I think that a 240 weighs more than that. But are you sure it will physically fit on your trailer? I would have to think a trailer rated at only 2700 pounds must be single axle.

My Super C barely fits on my tandem-axle trailer.

Good luck,
Bill

I have a International 240 Utility gas and when I weighted it, I beleive it weighted right around 3,400 lbs. I do not have any fluid in the tired. So that should be just the bare tractor. Hope this helps. Darin
