Get a phone call this mornin from granny saying the big bull pushed the fence in and the cow that haven't calved and the ones that have are all mixed togather. IT TOOK 5 HOURS TO SORT THEM DAM THINGS!!! Then the stupid bull tried jumping the fence to try breeding again so had to put a tractor in front of it, I tell you wut, it's a wonder I even choose to get outta bed in the morning. Check them fences.

Many years ago on my folks farm we had a real fun visit. The neighbor better than six miles away had a break out. I know the name but not the spelling. How does Charrley sound? These things are HUGE white bull dozers. They went right through every fence in the Hunterdon county back country. The farm were they lived had steel cable fence with phone poles and huge springs on the cables and high voltage zap too! My dad called the guy and he brought over some drugged feed. They load one at a time to take them home. A regular cow looked like a calf next to these things! My dad got $400.oo for the trouble. You could follow where they went cause it looked like a WWII Sherman tank went through. Barb wire, fence posts, small trees, Etc..

Hmm...Maybe he wants to separate the cows that the bulls just want to have fun with, from the cows that are actually marriage material. ;)

every time a bull tears down a fence I'm reminded of the old story about the tractor salesman who saw a farmer plowing with a bull, here's my tractor sale for today he thinks, the farmer says tractor? I've got one in the barn I'm trying to show this d** bull there's more to this farming than tearing down fences and making love.

Levi, them bulls are like little dozers they make up their mind they are going to go throuh a fence and they usually do. I was talking to my neighbour about an almost identical incident to yours only it was his neighbours bull that came through the fence to his cows, took some time too!I got an Angus bull that is pretty tame but I've watched him test a fence a few times, the electric wire probably tickles him two or three times before he backs right off. Be carefull around Bully, take care Mike in Exeter Ontario
