stupid bolt question, 666 farmall

I got my filters yesterday, when I went to change out the side filter thats in the transmission, theere is bolt that looks like a inverted torx, is this just a 12 point bolt or do I need another tool, the wife hates when I do need another tool because I always come home with more than I went for, thansk pat

You definately need a set of those Craftsman ratcheting box wrenches to remove this stupid bolt. At least that's what I'd tell my wife.

I did get it with teh 12 point socket, but, yeah a new tractor NEEDS a new tool to work on it, pat

I think a 12 point socket will fit it. Try it and you will soon know. Of course, if you really want to buy more tools, don't let your wife see this.

thansk guys , I had a senior moment there, talk first before thinking, {and I'm only 43,man}I went out and looked at it the 12 point socket worked ten I came in and seen the replies,,, got it off, but I may still go get some tools anyway, pat
