Not that much to it. Before you begin, write out an ad. Come up with a clear informative title: Farmall H Gas Tank, for example. The category will take you a bit of time to find, but it is antique tractors under Business and Industrial. Don't use the reserve unless you just can't stand the thought of someone getting a bargain. Most of the time, things sell for a fair price. Every once in a while you get a steal, but usually because people post the wrong category. Pay attention to the time you list. If you list it in the middle of the night, the auction will end in the middle of the night and guess what, it will go cheaply. Think coast to coast....9 am EST is 6:00 am PST.....etc. Set a low starting price: why? because more people will get interested and you will get a better price. Accept a money order or check, but state you will hold the check until it clears. Shipping is actual. Fedex ground is really reasonable these days for large items. Send an email to you buyer soon after the auction closes figuring the total with shipping. It is work, but a great way to get rid of extra parts.
