Awsome pics, Howard!! Wish we could have been there, but Sam"s new sister probably wouldn"t have been very cooperative on a trip that long. She"ll go to her first show in July, interestingly, it will be the same show(Franklin, NC) that was Sam"s first 6 years ago. Did you have any luck on the corn binder manuals? Kevin

Nice job, cowman. I see you got a picture of George Willer, his wife Marilyn and the tricycle Cub. He's added the duals since I last saw it at Portland, IN. a couple of years ago.
As for the Osborn FWA, it's my understanding that the front axle is a Rockwell out of a military deuce and a half. Is that what you saw?

Cowman, Nice pics. Unfortunately I wasn"t able to make it knowing full well that RPRU probably wont get much closer to Mid Mich than mansfield Oh. We had such a bad spring,(Rained 15 days in may) that we are way behind, especially having to replant so much. Hopefully I"ll get to a show in the near future. Its nice to see some of the more unusual tractors, rather than the ordinary, although I see nothing ordinary about old IH. There"s something special about every one, regardless of age or condition.

Thanks for the pics Cowman. It was nice to meet you and put a face with the name. I thought the Round Up was just wonderful. So many great tractors and some that were really different. I am so happy to see that there are many people out there that really care about keeping the red ones alive and running. I really like the fair ground shows.

Nice pics. Does any one know who got the 2009 show, WI, SD, or IA? Also, this is 2 in a row for fairground shows. What do you like better, fair ground shows, or the traditional club hosted show.

Just wondering.Our club hosted the first official RPRU and would like to get one again.

Nice pics. Never heard of an Osborne FWA. What year were these thing sold? And how well did they work? Also what was pic #22? A pulley, but to what? Thanks for the pics - I should have gone, but work came up.

#22 is the fan pulley on an F20, don't know what the extra pulley is for, never seen one like it.

I noticed that pulley on that tractor too. I was lucky the owner was there when I was looking at it. He said he used a combination of V-belt parts and flat belt parts to put it together. The late F-20s used the v-belt but it wasn't spring loaded.
I'm pretty sure my 2 39s have the extra pulley sheave. I'll check that and let you know. It was funny, the guy said I was the first person to ever notice or ask about that belt and pulley setup.

I'm no expert on F-series, but weren't starter & lights an option on the later F series? Is that the generator pulley for that option? (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Did you get any infro on the Osborn front assist?

Looks like it was powered off of the belt pulley gear box.

How was it geared to the rear end for speed?
