Howdy fellers,The corn and beans I planted last week germinated quicker than lightning. They are both over 3 inches tall.I think all the thunder and lighning has "shook em awake".Oh I know about lightning releasing nitrogen into the air,but does anybody know exactly how beneficial that is,or is does it give just enough to green everything up a little? The 105 tomato plants I planted are doing great too. They have shown quite a bit of growth since they were planted last week.I also have 96 cabbage sets out,48 bell pepper plants,48 banana pepper plants,24 jalapeno peppers,I also planted 4 different kinds of sweet corn-silver queen, ambrosia, super sweet hybrid, and peaches and cream hybrid.Planted 10 rows of stringless bush beans. And 10 rows of good ole fashioned pole beans just for the old die hard string beaners. All the rows in my truck patch are 75 feet long, and last year I grew more than I had time to sell so this year moms gonna pitch in and help me sell it and I will pay her 30 percent to do it for me.Plus I will tip her with vegetables whenever she needs them.Oh yeah I planted a bunch of crookneck squash, zucchini, boston pickling cucumbers, hite spine cucmbers,a couple dozen rows of field corn Im going to run through an old John Deere sheller this fall.Figuiredon belting it up to my H and see what happens....RBF
