Went to the Ebbersten auction down by Springfield for a couple of hours yesterday. I thought things sold pretty high for what they were. Most of this stuff had not run for quite some time and there were a lot of flat tires. The three things that stuck out as being good buys were an all original 39 M on cutdowns front and rear that looked complete and was extremely straight. The paint may have even been original. Rubber was good. I don't know if it ran but it brought $1300. Kind of kicking myself for not getting on that. A nice and straight little 200 that supposedly ran brought $1600. An extremely straight 450 knee deep in new rubber with a standard drawbar brought $2500. I think it supposedly ran but don't know. All in all though I saw some really rough tractors bringing some high prices. Sure was a nice day for it though.

Was that the auction with about 350 tractors?

I bet there was a big crowd.

How long did it take to sell them all?

Gary

Yes that was the same auction. I don't know how long it took. We only stayed about two and a half hours. They sold a lot of tractors while I was there. They weren't fooling around. They did not start any of the tractors and some they even said very little about. That really helped keep things moving. It was the kind of sale where if you were seriously interested in a particular tractor you had better of gone a couple days earlier and spent some time going over the tractor and learning as much about it as possible because you weren't gonna learn much about it when they sold it. It was a pretty neat sale though.

Sorry you missed seeing some of the tractors run. Those that they could start, were started; especially the one that brought $67,500. also the 350 Hi-clearance that brought $30,000. Others that did not run were not started. Go to aumannauctions.com in a couple of days to see prices.
