Im still tryin to find good tractor for bargin price. Two new prospects are within couple hr drive. M for $1750 has older paint runs good OK tires power steer live hyd and narrow frt. 450 for $2500 has orig paint runs good just OK tires ps nf ta out 3 valve hyd no fasthitch and comes with and old hyd bucket loader with under size clyinders. Not doing any farming just pulling 6ft brush hog. It would be great to have a tractor gain in value while I owned it. Both these tractors might be a little pricy to set around at my place. What you all think.

Maybe it's just me but both of those tractors seems a bit too much for a 6' brush hog.
If you are only using it for that, a 300/350 utility would be just the ticket me thinks.

Or hows about a 340 rowcrop?

I've got some good seat time in both of these tractors...and the boys are right...450 all the way! It really is a no brainer, but that depends on your budget too. I haven't always bought exactly what I wanted because the bank account wouldn't support it. :)

I also would say the 450, its bigger, more HP at around 55 and has live hyds and PTO. I redid a 450 a couple years ago and played with it a little today and will tomorrow also, it has a bad soliniod on it so thats why I'll be playing with it tomorrow.

That's a no-thought choice. 450 in an eyeblink.

|I agree with Allen.

For mowing you would like the live pto that the 450 would have.

Better PS and hydraulics also.

And you might even get some use out of the loader or sell it.
