I really thought I was banned or something. That or the company put a block on my computer to stop me from visiting the site during the day. Sure do hope it's not a permanant shutdown. Has it ever gone down for an extended period of time before?

Does anyone know how to get ahold of Rick? I thought I had it written down here somewhere, but can't seem to find it. I sure am missing the site, though--it's kind of like my coffee in the morning, I can't start my day without it! If Rick did decide to hang it up, I would at least like to know, but I would rather think that maybe he got a virus or maybe he's upgrading the site and had to shut it down to do so.

I'll keep checking back here for any new news, and I hope everyone one else does too.

This site DEFINITELY NOT an acceptable substitute for RPM. What really pizzes me off, is that less than 2 weeks ago, we were asked to donate in order to keep the Red Power site up and running, and now for the last three days it has been down, with no explanation on why, when, or if, it will be back.
The worst thing is that this, YT.stupid is basically geared to the wannabees, yuppies, and small time gardeners, whereas RPM seemed to have a majority that were actually involved in REAL agriculture, yes, even 460's forever and ORF.
And this site, not neccessarily the IH board, definitely puts to the lie, the old saying that "there is no such thing as a stupid question".

Maybe if Red Power stays down some of us old farts that cut our teeth on H steering wheel will get to know some of you real farmers. I no longer farm but most of my farming neighbors farm at least 2,500 acres row crop some as much as 10,000 acres and I can not imagine them with an attitude like yours.

I visit both sites, and on some things one or the other will have better information. But typically if there is an arrogant statement like yours it will come from someone on the redpower board who is a part-time hobbyfarmer and thinks he's some big time operator. I see less of the @sshole answers like yours here than over there. I also notice that you did'nt sighn you name when done here either. Jake

I hope not! I am giving him the benifit of doubt and going to say he's on the road trucking or something,but then again,someone had to put up the page saying temporarily unavailable!! HMMMMM! I may call the meisners and see if he's been notified. I need to talk to them about an article anyway. don't know if he is on hard times, of if he has had a virus attack. I have seen several of them on servers for antique tractors lately. They are writing virus programs faster than the antivirus companies cna keep up. Wish those people would get a life.
