The oil is check by the two petcocks on the side of the pan . The level shoud be between the two. THe differential has a check plug on the left side beneath the clutch rod. The hydraulic system should have a dipstick under the cap beneath the gas tank. If it does not it holds a total of 6 quarts. It might not hurt to change the hydraulic oil. There is a drain plug on the bottom. I also like to loosen the rear end plug beneath the pto and let out any condensed moisture.

When you remove the plug to drain the condensation do you lose much oil from the rear end or is it easy to let out the moisture and then turn the plug back in?

Hi , I don't have a H I have a M but they should be similar . The oil is checked with the petcocks on the side of the oil pan . Open them up and be patient . If oil runs out the bottom one it's OK but you should have enough in there to come out the top one too. It runs slow so don't overfill it . Be patient . The oil fill hole is the big cap on the front right of the engine . The final drive includes the diff and tranny and is checked on the left side below the clutch pedal with a 1/2" pipe plug , remove the plug and gear oil should barely run out . The fill port is the big plug next to the steering support under your right foot on top of the platform , you'll need a 3/4" square drive of some kind to remove this plug . The hydraulic level is checked on the right side just behind the engine and in front of the belt pulley if you have one . You'll need a dip stick if you don't have one . I don't remember the length right now maybe someone else can offer this . I hope this helps ...Randy
