Hi, I have a 674 International Diesel that I have took the head off of this Spring and had the head re-worked. Now I have bolted the head back on with a new head gasket and have a problem with the Rocker Arm Assembly. I made sure the pushrods are down into the lifter with the round end into the lifter but when I bolt down the Rockerarm assembly the rocker arms don't hardly make contact with the values stem or the pushrods .It's like the stands for the rocker arms are too tall. Is there anyway that I may have lost something like caps that set on the end of the value stem to take up some of this clearence that I have. It's been since Spring and things got moved around so I may have lost something ? I have a I&T Shop manual but it ain't much help. Does anyone have a parts view of the value train or can anyone tell me what may be going on ? Thanks for your time and any help. Scotty

Did you have any spare parts left over after you reinstalled the head? Bernard le Mecano may post on here, he's very knowledgeable of the 674.

I think you are missing the Rotacaps from the top of the valvestems. I would think they would be still available.
