Have you posted this question on the pulling board? Ask for CHAD S HERE OR OVER AT THE PULLING BOARD. He will set you in the right direction. JON

About the biggest bore in a Super H block is 3-5/8". You can go larger but will have to run the pistons in the block without sleeves, and while boring may run into the water jacket. 4" bore is out of the question. Frankly I wouldn't risk a Super H block like that, IHC only made 28,000 to 29,000 Super H's but almost 400,000 H's....You can build almost as much HP from an H as You can a Super H and for less $$$$$. If Your bore is 3-3/8" then You actually have an H, Super H was 3-1/2" bore.

Ya make them yourself like if ya want a hotter cam then get a cam from the boneyard and send it out and have it ground for what ya want as for the carb there are a lot of us on here that will talk ya thru redoing it as for the head there ya find some one that is good with doing head work and has a flowbench . Now for the pistons myself i like the high alt. pistons for above 8000 ft. The rest is basic engine building and for the ing. system there ya need to find some old fart like me that has done dist. all his life and understands just how far ya can take a tractor dist. as it is not anything like drag raceing or roundyround raceing . Now i am not sayen that ya need to ship your dist to me as i am somewhat out of it . As for buying parts all i can tell ya is byer beware as there are a few places that will take your money and realy give you nothing but headachs . A good well built engine a good fuel system and a good ing. system will do well unless you want to go where no one has gone before then the sky is the limit as long as the check book holds out.
