was running the brushhog today. half of a 2 acre field done and the darn thing was slowing down! (bogging down) I was down to a 1 ft cut and killing it, checked the fluid levels and everything was fine, ran around the field for 20 min,s cutting push over and it started to sing! now knew that I could cut the rest! but what happened when it slowed down and would'nt cut????? ??

was in heavy IVY, BUT it cut through it when it started to sing! The Farmall A is a mid 40's, the hog is a Kingcutter 48" has always done well in the past!! Just something out of the ordinary, happened abd do'nt know what!!!!! !!!

Another thing, make sure you don't have a bunch of wire or something fouling up your hog.

Can you turn the friveshaft on the Hog and have the blades turn ? Sounds like a bearing going out or something like that to me. If it is the hog, if the hog is free then the tractor running the hog is sick.

blades not sharp

to fast in thick brush.

belt tention tight.

Treat it like the lawn mower for home
