I just recently bought an F-12 with a #90 plow and a #12 mower. With some help from this board and some other research, I now know what the correct paint colors are for the mower. Here's my problem; I cannot find any info on the #90 plow. IHC, YT, engineads.com, Wisconsin History, etc., do not seem to have any info. Binder books doesn't seem to have any info either. I've looked extensively at the Wisconsin History site and found some general painting instructions, but nothing specific for the #90. I know I have a #90 as I have a dealer brochure from 1933 and it shows exactly the same plow as I have. It shows a hydraulic lift as well as a chain lift off of the left rear axle. I have all of the parts, but no color scheme. Anybody out there have any more info? Is this the right board to be asking these questions?

My 90 plow seemed to be all red with a white depth control wheel. I painted the moldboard black because its a modern bottom and they were black. The 16" bottom I put on is much easier to buy parts for than the origional bottom and bolted right up to the beam.

When sanblasting the colors will show like under a bolt head or behind a brace. I can always tell what the color scheme was. I have cults for the A and B and colors schemes did vary. Same with moldboard plows i have sandblasted.

Well, I went to the Implement Photos and did a search for a #90 Plow. Found some photos. Also, reviewed Decision #31 and #41 on the Wisconsin History site. I'll try to make it as politically correct using that info. Sure is challenging but, in the end it will look good! I don't know if I can re-boil the wood for the pitman arm though. May have to get a new piece of wood.

Dave, I have a parts book with a black and white picture of the The Farmall Plow No. 90 (with Power Lift). It lists all the parts associated with the plow. (approx. 280 parts) The picture I have shows a one bottom plow with no tail wheel. Hope this helps you. Marv

This is the right board for asking those questions, unfortunately, I cannot give the answers, because I don't know. Don't give up, there are people that frequent this board that do know the answer.
