I paid $2250 for a Stage 2 Super H, in 2003, slightly overpriced, not much. It depends on how much work the tractor needs -- I am not including the loader. If the tractor is in excellent condition (completely ignore the paint, and the wrong seat pan) it may be worth $2500. Stage 2's bring more than either a straight H or a stage 1 super. But be sure it is a Stage 2, the battery under the seat thing could be a conversion.

I think I would want to see receipts for engine work/clutch work, etc. before dropping that kind of money.

An engine can run really good and still have lots of problems...

It's a Stage II Super H with a loader, good paint & tires, fenders. I can't tell if the loader is 2-way hyd. or not, but if it runs O-K, doesn't have any damaged castings or sheetmetal, doesn't smoke, and looks to be at a dealer, I'd say YES, $3000 cash is a fair price in the upper midwest.

That tractor would have to be just about perfect in every way to make it worth $2,000. I suspect the seller is waiting for for a fool.

If they run better than they look, they are priced at the top of the range. If they can be operated untill warmed up, and do not smoke, and have good oil in the various systems, the brakes work, and the tires are unchecked, and the compression/oil/temp stay in the run range, they just might be worth ihe price quoted. Some parts of the country are much higher than others. Just my opinion, JimN

I agree with the people above who say it depends on the location of the tractor. Seems Mo, Wi, Neb, and Minn are good places to pick up a tractor. In Ohio, where I am from, people seem to think the cases are loaded with cash. It would only take a few minutes to find half a dozen similar tractors around here that are not in nearly this nice shape for the same money.
