We rebuilt the carb, checked fuel flow from tank, cleaned out discharge nozzle all the little holes are open, still have same problem, cant figure this one out. Also, when you put tractor in gear,it grinds until you let clutch out I am thinking throw out bearing? we greased it, that did not help.

All good advice here, but while on the subject of compressed air NEVER blow air into the fuel inlet of the carburetor! To do so may collapse the float.

Plugged or partially plugged main jet. The Cub carburator is very simple. Disassemble and clean (dip). You may or may not need a kit. I would take the carb apart before I purchased a kit.

If you have good fuel flow to the carb, it could be several things in the carb. It could be a plugged jet or the float set wrong. May need to get a carb kit. Roger

sounds like you are not getting the right amount of fuel to the carb from the tank. take the line loose from the carb and blow through it with compressed air. i had the same problem with my super a a couple of weeks ago, had a piece of rust stuck in the fuel bowl i just took a small magnet and pulled the piece out of the tank after i blew it out

Try taking the line off the carb and put compressed air to it and turn the bulb on there may be a blockage in the top of the bowl where it goes into the tank. It happened to me. JON
