Them durn termites ate away part of Shawn's SC hood. Then inside portion of the hole that the exhaust pipe comes up thur. Had to figure out way to fill the hole. This is where they ate away part of the hood. :>(
I drowned them durn termites in electrolysis tank.:>)

My first part of repairing enlarged hole. This is the underside of hood.

Hole repair complete. ready for the final prep. You can see where I leaded it in, then roughed out sanded...Will finish and primer tomorrow..

Very nice job. Had to do some thing like that for the antenna hole on a car once. If you can get everything to tin the first time around it is great. Found something that works well with the new no lead soilders. Go to depot and buy a can of paste with the green and white lable. I can"t remember the name but it is in a little flat can. Take the top off and look at the stuff. It looks like body puddy or dum dum looks. Gray in color and boy does it work well on copper and metal. Give it a try. jeffcat

HOW YOU GUYS BEEN OUT ON THE WEST SIDE? STILL UNPACKING HERE, PUTTING UP NEW SHED SO THEY WILL BE COVERED WHEN I PULL THEM OUT OF THE SHOP.WILL START MESSING WITH TRACTORS THIS FALL

Hello Dennis,doing fine on this end. Just dealing with all the iron munching mites you left here on your way back to the Carolina's..:>)

Thought we were going to get Shawns SC painted month or so ago, but kept finding things that need to be fixed on the sheet metel.
