I went to the tractor guy I deal with and he had an old crank/grill bracket that I got to use as a pattern to fix mine. The tip on mine was broken right at the upward bend.

Thanks for all yalls help.

Jerry, thanks!

The pictures are a lot of help. One more thing then Ill leave yall alone. Can you please measure the inside distance between the crank bracket part and the end that flps up where the nut is. Since mine is bent and broke I need to know just where to start the tip bending back up. Mine probly broke right at the bend but Im not sure, it might have broke at the nut.

Was your crank/grill bracket off of a Super A Jerry?

Reason why I ask is I have looked at a cub today and it had the downward bend (45 degree) like mine and then I looked at a H and it had it straight (90 degree) bend like yours.

I may just have to go get my grill back from the welder and remount it and see just what I am dealing with. It is hard to think just where the hole would line up if it was bent straight out. Plus the distance between this and the grill is quite important.

Part of your bracket is missing!!! The pic of VAJerry posted is the correct one., just like mine. I haven't had a chance to get a pic of mine yet, but Jerry's is the same. Bolt hole on the extention faces down!!HTH

OK, got to bend the angled part out straight to a 90 degree angle and straighten the curve out and then weld another tip on there and the nut.
