This is a gas and after it is warmed up it wants to miss on #2 cyl.at high and low rpm. I have changed points, cond, rotor, cap, wire, plugs, checked compression{all 4 running 100 lbs}. Dist.shaft is good. I am overlooking something but I cannt put my finger on it. This has got me a scratchen my bald head. All help appreciated. Thanks

Thanks Guys for all your help. I did find the problem-loose manifold bolts. Never to old to learn.

May be a valve getting a little gummed up. I'd run a little MMO or ATF in the gas and see if that will clear it up.

May try checking valve clearance as next step.

That would be my guess. The clearance is too tight on the valves for #2 cylinder.

OOPS, never thought of that. A cracked manifold could certainly cause those symptoms.

Yeah, it was a hair pullin experience. New everything in the carb, ignition, new manifold gaskets. Ran fine, until it warmed up and would lose a cyl, or act like it anyways,, It was a hairline fracture, had to sandblast it to find it actually. If its got a sticky valve, if its not bent,, run it a full throttle, mix some ATF with some gas in a squirt bottle, and spray into the carb inlet while its running, do that till it turns the manifold kinda cherry red, (and it will trust me,,) let it run bout 1/2 throttle till she cools off. If its sticking, that will free em up,, or help em atleast. ChadS
