Starting to feel like Allan...;)

I lost the PS the other day and was glad that it was only a belt...or was it...hmmm!

I got lucky and found the belt in the garden but it was torn up so bad it was no use. I did like Cowman suggested and measured around the pullys using the wife's measuring tape, well he did not suggest using her tape, he suggested the measuring part, but I blamed it on him anyway. Came out to 48".

Here are the remains of the belt. I went to the auto parts store and spent $11.00 on a new belt. I had planned to post pics of the next steps but the sky told me I better get off the pot. I got done and did some under hood maint while I was there, buttoned everything up and took it for a quick drive, good as new!

Mother Nature decided to reward me with tropical rain and hail. Until this year I only remember one hail storm in my lifetime, this year we have had five.

Next I set there for about 30 minutes looking at this little patch of nice paint and thinking about how nice the tractor would look if it were all this nice. Then I decided I like it just the way it is.
