I got a 600 D a couple of weeks ago and while cleaning it up I changed fuel filters. I have been doing this since the early 50's and the primary filter will always flow by gravity, but not this puppy, how come? (tank is full) The remainder of the bleeding is OK and the tractor runs good when warmed up but has a cold faint miss at higher RPM's. Is there something wrong at the water trap, I have not had it off? Thanks...Darald

Jossette...I guess that is my concern about the water trap, perhaps that screen is plugged, I'm going to take it apart and find out. I'm also going to take the valve on top of the filter off and clean it. Thanks guys...Darald

My first guess is the hole in the bolt or brass valve must be plugged on that one, because of that you would have just a small air bubble at the top of that filter. Good luck, Chuck

Not if it is running.
