There is a 684 IH up @ auction. Cab, 3600 hrs, loader, gapple, 3pt. I currently have a 826 Diesel 6500 hours, 1650 Cockshutt with loader(gas) and a Massey Harris 50 with 3 pt hitch. Can I get enough $$ out of these three if I sold them to get the 684?? The 684 has all 3 things I need in a tractor for my farm(diesel, 3pt, loader) Thanks for your advise..

Luc

I agree with the other guys. Besides, whats the 826 got? Fast hitch? If so, sell the Massey and find a factory 3pt setup for the 826. You might end up money ahead. Thats a nice tractor, I wouldn't get rid of it, at least not on a 684!

Ok what is the 684 worth at the auction. I'm expecting it to go between 8000-$10000. What is the hp and weight of these tractors..

Hi Luc,

We all have different needs I guess and don't hollar at me for saying this, but I wouldn't trade the 6500-houred engine out of that 826 for a little utility tractor.

Just my opinion tho,

Allan

The 826 should bring around 4 to 5 thousand, the 1650 maybe 2 to 3 thousand, don't know about the Massey. I wouldn't think that the 684 would be worth any more than than the 826. Just my opinion.

an 826 in good shape in my part of the country ( central KY ) will bring 8000 to 9000. Have you ever driven a 684??? The platform tractor is more comfortable and there is no comparing the power of that german diesel in the 826.
