We have been having some hydraulic problems with our 806. The brakes and power steering does not operate. The 3pt. and aux hydraulics work fine. Checked fluid level and its fine. There was a slight knock in the rear end but it went away. Any help or ideas would be great!

Thanks Luke Baker

Your problem can be a list of things . From sticking valves in the MCV , blowen MCV gskts., blowen O/RINGS , weak or broken springs, a problem in the T/A low pump pressure or low pump volume sucking air due to a missing or cracked O/Ring betweent the speed trans. and the range trans. and it is like this If ya don't know what your doing and you do not have a book the gauges and special test tool and fittings and a set of dial calipers then take it to some one that knowes what he is doing . Because if ya get the pressure set to high ya can blow the MCv wright off the side of the tractor like one guy did tryen to get more pressure to the T/A for lock up for tractor pullen and he blew the MCv off the side pulling all the threads out of the housing .

Same thing with my 806 a couple months ago. Changed filter and good as new. I had totally lost my steering, Brakes and TA slipping.

check your hydraulic oil filter, possibly replace with a new one(right side of trans). or the pump posibly needs replaced. pump is on back side of the ta control valve plate (left side below battery).hope this helps.
