Bear with me I dont have a picture yet, I will explain a best as I can what the look like. They were bolted to the rear rims on my ford 8N.

They are red cast iron and have a IH in a circle in the casting, they a very heavy probably 100-150 lbs each, they are 16"-18" in diamiter, they are concave on the rear, and beveled on the face they have 2 half moon cut outs on each side and 4 bolt holes, they have a 8" to 10" hole in the middle. Are they front or rear weights and what do they fit???

My friend is going to take pictures of them so I can list on ebay, and I need to know what they can fit to list them, also does anyone have a clue what they might fit on and what they might sell for?? and help would be greatly needed.

Thanks: Marks8N

If they are 18" or less in diameter, and especially if they have a non-circular hole for the axle, they are NOT the standard H/M/Etc. rear weights (for 36" rims). More likely they are the smaller weights which went with the 300/350 Utility (28" rims), or one of the Wheatland style tractors.

They should have a part number (something like 362656R1) cast into the weight somewhere. If you post that number, somebody should be able to tell you exactly what you have.

Oops! Meant to say they aren't the standard H/M/Etc. weights if DO have a CIRCULAR hole for the axle.

the fellas answered it correctly, they are rear wheel weights for the Farmall letter series. Most common on the H and M. 145 lbs, just took a pair off my farmall H last week

They are 145 lb. cast iron IH weights. Should have four holes for mounting as well. Worth about 40 dollars apiece.

Sounds like rear weights that fit the C through 560. Look at some of those tractors on the tractor photo section, you can probably find them. Mostly C,H,M,Super series of the same, 300, 350, 400, 450, etc. I think they are bigger than 18 inches though, They weigh 145 lbs.

Sounds like they could be rear weights for a wheatland tractor, like a W-4, W-6, or W-9. Have your buddy post the pictures here first, and someone will tell you what they are for sure.
