Just bought a 1932 Farmall F-20. Serial no. 538 Been inside a barn for 50+ years. It still has what looks to be all the original decals, pin striping on the hood and radiator and lots of gray paint. Are there many differences between this early 20 and the later ones. Also, were these pin striped from the factory.

Off the top of my head small differences;
screw threaded fuel caps and cast tank necks
E4A mag with auto impulse coupling
cast iron fuel tank brackets
AFIK it should have the humps in the axle housing
single speed governor
"duckbill" steering
pinstriping is from factory
look for a casting date code on the LH side of block behind carb. It should end in "A" or maybe "B". There is an early F-20 that comes to our local show with a Dec '31 casting code (A) but is missing the SN plate.

I would love to see some pics too!

Send me an email and I can probably tell you more.

Sometimes original tractors aren't meant to be restored.

Probably has some left over Regular parts. Does the rear axle cast have the "Hump" to keep your foot from sliding? How many bolts on top of the transmission? IHC never threw away any parts. They just used them on the next model!
Post a picture for all to enjoy.

It appears that at least part of them were pin-striped from the factory. Sounds like a very rare find. I hope that you will be able to preseve it in that condition. Lots of little subtle differences. I'd like to see it sometime.
