First: Hey guys, does anyone know where I can grab a set of tie rod tubes and ends for a Farmall 100 with expandable front end?????

I"m looking for wherever the place is that you guys go to get the better deals on these parts. Is A&I the only game????

I tried fixing mine BUT the joker I bought it from dented te tubed up pretty bad. I took them to work tonight and freed them up, heated the tube up and tried to drive the bar into it to straighten it up but it was to no avail. All of hese parts are pretty worn out anyway so I guess I"ll get all new and put a new front end (so to speak) on it. I"ll need the tubes, the tie rod ends, and the bars with the outer ball joints on them. I salvaged the clamps and other hardware. The scallops on my bars are pretty worn out. I need both left and right side.

Second: Mr. Hugh MacKay....that parts book you advised me to purchase is totally AWESOME! :) Thanks so much!!!!

If you think the A&I stuff is high, price real Case/IH. Just the long, notched tie rods were $104.00 EACH in 2000. One note on the A&I stuff, it is good quality, but you cannot set the front end to 44" (narrowest setting) without modifying the A&I parts. The long rod will not collapse deep enough into the tube for the bolt notches to line up without trimming about 3/8" off the long tie rod. This won't hurt anything, unless you ever want to set it as wide as it will go, and I think that would still be OK, too. Of course, I doubt many people set them that narrow, but I needed to for the two-way plow. OEM Tractor Parts has those parts, too, but I'm not sure if they are cheaper.

A&I may be the only manufacturer for new ones, don't know. Bates Corp sells A&I as do several other suppliers, so you might shop around.
