Can anyone tell me where I can find a nut that holds the steering wheel on ? Or does any one know what size and pich thread it has . thanks for any help

Also should have said any good hardware store should have the nut sizes I just told you about. Shouldn't cost you more then a few bucks to buy one of each size I said and then just take back the ones that are wrong

Sorry I have to disagree with rusty this time. Its bigger then 1/2 inch I just chack to one on my M. If I had to take a guess it would be either a 9/16 or 5/8 National fine tread. Might be as big as 3/4 NF. I happened to have a 1/2 NF nut here on the table and I walked out to my M just to have a look see so thats why I know its not the 1/2 inch

I think the size and pitch is 1/2" x 13, but don't quote me on that. I do know that it is a common size, but it takes a larger wrench size than normal.
