Use 85-140 if you live in a warm climate, 90wt for cold climate

Every Old Timer I know has told me to drain it out, fill about 2/3 to 3/4 with kero or deisel and drive her around for a few minutes...Gear boxes only! Some say to flush the engine the same way, but ron the moter good and warm, drain and fill with kero to propper level, run her for 15 to 30 sec. MAX. After flushing out, drain WELL - get every last drop out, then fill with new fluid and go. Mike

DO NOT run the tractor with diesel in the rear end. Block her up and putter in neutral and turn the rear end by hand for a bit. There needs to be as little load on the gears as possible or they will wear like butter even for a short time.

Final drive (each 1.5 quarts), transmission (5 quarts) add pint for pto or belt pulley.
