I have a bad transmission seal, on the left side, leaking onto the brake band, and on the barn floor. Since I'm painting it, I decided to tear that side down ad replace the seal. Since I'm pulling it all apart, I thought I would remove the rim, wheel and final drive in pieces. Is this something I can handle, with a big friend helping? In other words what is the weight of my fluid filled rim, wheel and final drive, each? Also what help can you guys give about changing the seal?

i have fluid filled tires on my 300u and removed the tire when I tried and eventually gave up on removing the rockshaft. I did it myself, but it is not easy. I rolled it againt the side of my car. Just dont let it fall down or you will not get it back up by yourself. Also when repositioning the tire back on, you'll have to jack it up approximately the right height, turn the hub to align the holes, then roll it back and forth and swing it in a bit each time. Its not easy, took me a few minutes to get it on right, but not impossible.

We don't know, because you have not told us what model tractor you have.

I would say about 150lb on the final drive. Couldn't guess on what a fluid filled tire would weigh. I did mine with the help of Me, Myself and I. But my tire was empty.
