The last one I bought from IH for an H was pretty generic, covered with a woven plastic, coil wire came out the end, included a horn wire and the wire for 12 volt start. I make my own since

For about $50.00 you can make your own. Solder all the connectors and use shrink tubing. Use on of "Bob M's" wiring diagrams and your all set.

The price from my local Case/IH dealer is $175.00.
They would need to order them too. Hal

Buy it from a case-IH dealer. Less costly than Brillman or Agri Services.

Is the harness sold by C-IH mostly for function, or is it like the original too? Remember what their price is? I sure wish they had a parts site like Deere's so one could shop for parts, check availibility, price, etc.

They only a phone call away to get a price. Try 1-800-732-0017 and ask for Farm tractor parts. Hal

What about The Brillman Company's harnesses? In Red Power magazine they describe their harnesses about the same as you describe those sold by Agri-Services.

I agree with Hal - If you are a stickler for originality Agri-Services (www.wiringharnesses.com/) are among the best out there. They however are not cheap - probably about the same as from CIH dealer price.

However you don't care about orginality it's simple (also much less expensive) to make your own.

You can buy it from your CaseIH dealer.
