On the left axle/final drive you have the four stud bolts and between that is the seed plate drive. Right above the seed plate drive is what looks to be a weep hole that is about 3/4" square. Theres one on the right as well. Oil is leaking from mine on the left but not the right one.

Did I put to much oil and its leaking out or is there something else I need to worry about?

didnt you know that new paint acts like a magnet and draws oil out to run on the floor and the new paint will also fall off where it leaks. I swear that you wont have any leaks until you paint. Any more i replace the front seal on the tranny and both seals in the final drive on both sides befor painting therefore no leaks when im done. The seals will run around 50 bucks for all five but its a sure guarante for no leaks on the new paint job. wellcome to the NEW PAINT WITH OIL LEAKS CLUB.

Gene

I didnt want to hear that!

I had the brakes replaced but not anything else. That may have to wait then until Spring or least til I get some more money. This tractor is starting to cost big time. Not to mention it will mess up my new paint job. Geeeeez

there is a seal there and it is leaking. the 90wt in the final drive is picked up by the bull gear and thats how the top bearing gets its lube. not hard to replace. you will have to take it loose at the tranny and remove the brake drum so you can pull the axle and get to the seal. The bearing and axle come out the plate on the final housing but cannot be removed until the brake drum is removed. mite want to replace the inner seal when you have it apart.
