Will an injection pump off of a WD9 work on a MD with no to very little modifications. What type of gains or losses will occur. I have a friend that has 3 pumps laying around and I am wondering if it is worth my time to install on my MD for a little extra HP.

Yes It does work, I have one on mine. It takes a while to get it perfect though, the timing and fuel adjustment.

Was there any power increase. What did you have to do to the fuel adjustment, up or down. Just want to make sure I do it correctly if I decide to do it.

You kinda just have to feel your way around, dont mean to sound like that but it took us a while to get it right. I will say this though the tractor will start right up on diesel after it has warmed up of course, it never did that before. If there is a horsepower increase we havent noticed it yet. The governor is a lot jumpier.

I am going to try to put it on a PTO dyno with the MD pump and then with the WD9 pump and see if there is any changes. also want to get it running where most HP is available.
