I recently pulled the engine down on an H I just bought. After I pulled the pan I knew the crank was shot just by looking at the #1 rod journal,it had spun the bearing and I guess the guy I got it from could'nt here the knock.I took it to the machine shop just too find out it was worn .78.Anybody got a crank for sale,I've been watching the classifieds with no luck. Thanks,Eric in Ky

Try Walts tractor parts at 1-888-414-4043. He has a reground shaft for $160.00. You can get new insert bearings from your local auto machine shop.

You can get one with new bearings reground and ready to go for around 350 better than buying a used one that may be just as bad as the one you have now. if interested send e-mail

$350 for a crankshaft in excellent condition with new bearings is pretty reasonable.

Bearings will run 150 grinding the crank another maybe 100 and his is shot so he needs a good core or else spend a bundle building his up. I seen pics of what you bought and just wait till you get done a nece H with good paint is cheap for 2000 compared to what it is going to cost. good luck and have fun
