340 U Hydraulic Oil Change?

I have removed the three drain plugs from the tractor.Drained almost 10 gallons of fluid out which looked like chocolate milk when it came out. Filter and screen were almost completely clogged. I am going to let the tractor drain overnight,clean the screen and replace fluid and filter tomorrow. Is there anything else I should service concerning the hydraulic system while the fluid is out? Hope this takes care of my intermittent steering problems.

The bad thing about changing the fluid is all of the residual fluid. What I would do is I would unhook the distributor and bump the engine over a few times so the hydraulic pump can expel all the fluid into the resevoir. Make sure u prime it after putting in new fluid the same way. Unless you got 20 gallons laying around to change it after a few hours again, but that stuff is $$$
