Was wondering if anyone has ever used this. It is primarily used in converyor systems: Link I was hoping to use it to fix my generator belt on my 300u, as I cant remove the waterpump belt because the setscrew in my waterpump pulley is broken off. I do not plan to use the tractor in the cold weather, so the cold isnt a concern. I'm not sure how it would hold up to the engine conditions. I'm pretty sure that it would work for the generator, as its no more then 1 HP I assume. One concern is the tight radius around the generator. This type is spliced by using a hot peiece of metal between the 2 ends and then its slide out the the 2 ends are "melted" togther. The other type uses a double ended barb, but I've read that they arent too tolerant of tight radiuses such as th generator pulley.I dont need 100ft of it, so if anyone would be interested in purchasing some from me, let me know. I would only charge realistic cost, not looking to make a profit. Thanks for any opinions, Ideas and whatnot. In an ideal world, I would like to pull the radiator, and pull the waterpump off and drill out the setscrew, and retap the pully. I'm not sure I'd be able to separate the 2 pulley halves anyways. The waterpump belt is in like new shape, with the white lettering clearly visible, so that should last several years.
