I have a farmall b with poor spark, and have seen on other disscussion that new condensors are known to be bad, and I have installed new points and condensor, . Question is, how do I test this new condensor, and where do I get a good one, . this tractor has a magneto, and the new parts are from the local CaseIH dealer

Clean those new points with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and make sure they're gapped at.013".

BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE PLUG WIRES THAT ARE COPPER CORE, NOT THE NEW AUTOMOTIVE TYPE AS THEY DONT WORK WELL ON THESE OLD TRACTORS. ALSO PULL THE PLUG WIRES FROM DISTRIBUYOR CAP AND LOOK INSIDE THE HOLES TO BE SURE THEYRE NOT ALL CORRODED, SHOULD BE BRIGHT AND SHINEY. rp

Scott, to reallyyyyy yyyy test it you would need a regular capacitor tester that checks for leakage and capacitance etc like an electronics repair shop might use. I use my old reliable Simpson 260 Analog MultiMeter to test for obvious shorts and the kickback test for charging and it will show if a condensor is BAD but not necessarily if its good (or the capacitance value) like a real tester would do. Once the points n condensor are known for sure to be good yet the spark is still weak youre down to potential coil problems or weak impulse springs (starting spark quality) or weak rotor magnets n other stuff.
