On a super H with battery box under the seat, where did the ground cable connect to the tractor?? I am guessing this is a 6 volt system?? thanks GHT

The original ground was a flat braided strap that went to center rear bolt in operator platform/transmission cover. The strap shows to be current active number in onlie parts cataog..part no. 358987R91 strap battery to ground.

I think anywhere on the tractor's frame would ok.
I wouldn't make it any longer than nessary. I would use 00 battery cables too, if it's still 6 volts. Make sure you remove all paint and rust where you ground it. Both are very good insulators. If you have the battery it should only have 3 cells, there would be 6 cells on a 12 volt battery. Hal

Thanks ElToro, Trying to figure out where it was connected to from the factory.Working on this project for last 6 months. IT did not have a battery when I dragged it home. WAS it 6 volt from the factory?? GHT
