What is the best way to get the sleeves out of an A block ? thanks. Red

And, I have 8 new old stock sleeves, 4 have pistons (no rings) and 4 not. I need to move them out of here.

Trust us:dont worry about using a puller. I did the 2x2 and dead blow hammer trick and it worked beautifully on my super C. Wet sleeves are easy. Patrick

I used a piece of 2X2 oak and a hammer and drove them out. They're not pressed into the block.
Be sure to clean that block area where the new sleeve seals are installed. That area is where the dirt and rust collects. Clean the recessed
area at the top of the block where the sleeves seat too. Hal
PS: I used dish detergent on the lip of new sleeves so they would slide into the new seals easily.
