have an M. there is a stub sticking out of the place where the hyd. contrall lever was. why is it there? is it fixable? if so how? sombody also added a extra hyd. systime to.

If I'm reading you right, someone installed a distributer mounted pump (live) and removed the lift all control lever because he no longer needed it. The lever mounted on the stub. If the lift all is being used as reservoir for the live pump, and the other outlets AND the pump are there, you can find a control lever and use both. But, it makes more sense to simply add more spool valves. I assume yours has one somewhere.

If somebody added another hydraulic system, then the old one is probably just being used as the reservoir for the added system. (Hard to say without photos.) If that is the case, there is no reason to fix the broken stub, unless you are into purist level restorations. mike
