Well, you posted this time. This software is definitely not the best in the world, but not as bad as you say. I don't like the no editing after final submission either, but have not had problems with the back button deleting the post -- lately --. It has happened. The same problems don't happen to everyone all the time, seems to be a problem in some of the gerbil powered servers that route it to Kim. I imagine with your DSL, your post takes a different route than it did with dailup, thus canceling the benefit of higher speed. I have had that problem with my current wireless setup, it is still faster than dialup, but not as fast as advertised. Also, I believe in local ISP's if there is one in your area. It is always best to have someone walk me through some problem, rather than have to go through 27 voice mail steps before you finally get to speak to live person that is not in India or somewhere.

Yup, soon as I posted the above -- the forum posted it twice. I did NOT hit the send button twice, or double click it -- oh well.

I think the problem with double posts is that you hit your "back" button after posting your reply. On this particular software, that will repost the message.

It doesn't usually do that to me unless I accidentally hit submit again, although it has happened. Lately after the message posts instead of the message and the "return to forum" coming up I have been getting the "page cannot be displayed" thing. At that point I refresh the page and it goes back to the forum without reposting. This time it asked me to "resend the info", and without thinking (not at all unusual for me) I did what it said, thus the double post. That is the 1st time I have seen that one on this site, although that is a common Windows problem in other sites, first time it has happened to me on any forum though. In 7 years or so I have seen "almost" everything go wrong with this site, my fault or not.
